Mr.  Joachim Zagrosek

Joachim Zagrosek heads property treaty underwriting at Munich Re for SEA, Korea, India and Japan based in Singapore. He has a track record of more than 20 years in the reinsurance industry and worked most of his career in Asia namely in Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.

 

Joachim is Swiss and holds a masters in Physics after which he joined the reinsurance industry working in cat risk assessment and property treaty underwriting roles for a number of different markets. Since 2015 he has been leading underwriting teams across the region. In 2021 he joined Munich Re in the current function to oversee property treaty underwriting of its fast-growing portfolio in this region.
